City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office
The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) of Sto. Tomas, Batangas is the primary government agency responsible for ensuring the safety, preparedness, and resilience of our community against various disasters and emergencies.
Established in compliance with the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010 (RA 10121), we serve as the coordinating body for all disaster risk reduction and management activities in the City of Sto. Tomas.
To protect the lives and properties of Tomasinos by promoting a culture of disaster preparedness, implementing effective risk reduction strategies, and ensuring swift and coordinated response during emergencies.

We conduct regular training programs for barangay officials, emergency responders, and community members on disaster preparedness, first aid, search and rescue, and emergency response protocols.
We maintain and operate early warning systems to provide timely alerts on incoming weather disturbances, floods, earthquakes, and other potential hazards.
Our team is on standby 24/7 to respond to emergencies, conduct rescue operations, and provide immediate relief assistance to affected communities.
We manage designated evacuation centers throughout the city, ensuring they are equipped and ready to accommodate displaced families during disasters.
